Kathy Von Cloedt and I attended the first ever Hot Rod Reunion held at West City Park in Festus today.  This event was put on by several car clubs that joined together to raise money and collect food for local area food banks.  Our friends from Team 37 was there raising money by allowing people to sign one of their hot rods.  The Fenton Lions Club provided the food and there was music, attendance prizes and of course the 50/50 ticket sales.  The event was held on an open field in the park; pretty venue and pleanty of room to park the Hot Rods.  There was a nice collection of cars although attendance wasn't what they hoped probably due to the threatening weather.  We ran into some serious rain on the way home so I hope they got the whole event in before the sky opened.  The American Roadhouse Car Club was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from our friends at Memories Car Club for helping out at this event.  Thanks to the Clubs who put this event on and thanks for the Certificate.  Its nice to be appreciated.
