The American Roadhouse Car Club held its annual Trunk N Treat in conjunction with the Oak Tree Village Retirement Community celebration of Halloween.  The residents, their children and grandchildren, and great grandchildren came out in force to enjoy the wonder and WARM fall day.  The club had 11 cars participate, most of which were "those Corvette people's" cars, plus some Sharks and other friends. Everyone shared some "goodies" with our visitors and a good time was had by all!

The club had a good showing of costumes including Superman and Superwoman, a Witch (some would say that was appropriate), Bat Woman, Peter Pan (and a fine Peter Pan he was too!), a Cow Boy and Cow Girl duo, a Grim Reaper, a Wentch and last but not least, Carmen the Ninja Turtle Dog.  Oak Tree put on a great event for the residents and their guests by providing glasses of chilled apple cider, s'mores all around, a costume contest for the grandkids and a great quartet who played some spiffy old time tunes.  The costume contest was won by a Sailor Girl, a Gnome, Woody from the Toy Story movie, Reese's Pieces (her name really was Reese), Mini Mouse, and a Monster Girl. Thanks again to all who attended.  We'll do this again next year!
